Focus, Inc
Is a social and philanthropic group of gays and lesbians from throughout southwest Missouri. The mission of the organization is to provide a positive presence in the community through fundraising, social events and fun! The group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at Mille’s Cafe for a dinner and business meeting. Social activities and fundraising events are held each month. FOCUS, Inc supports other gay and lesbian organizations including The GLO Center and AIDS Project of the Ozarks. Membership is $30 per year and is open to any interested member of the gay or lesbian community. Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Mille’s Cafe 313 South Jefferson.

Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays
PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity. Monthly Meetings are the 3rd Sunday of each month from 3-5PM and are usually at National Ave. Christian Church, 1515 So. National, Springfield, MO.
